Of New Nabes and Crazy Badger Things

Yo yo yo! Not too much going on around here. Mike and Kristy Freeman, a couple from our ward that we're friends with, moved into the empty apartment next to ours yesterday. They had to fight off at least two other families from the ward who wanted it. Sheesh, we are popular! Anyway, I spent at least half of Saturday helping them transport all of their worldly possessions from the old apartment (which is about half a mile down the street) to the new apartment. Meanwhile, Alyssa spent the day doing cooking demonstrations at Sam's Club in Nampa, like she does every Saturday now. What a sweet li'l gal.

As we were driving to church today, just as we pulled onto Roosevelt we saw a really interesting critter crossing the street. It was about the size of a small dog, with a badgerish head and a big furry tail. At first we thought it was a badger, but then I remembered that badgers have really short stubby tails. We looked it up after church in one of my animal books, and the closest thing we were able to find was the American marten. However, we're both pretty sure the animal we saw was bigger than the typical marten. Any input from any animal experts out there would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I'm sick of writing stuff now. Bye!
